Day 1 - 2
Overnight at Africa Safari Selous
Overnight at Africa Safari Selous on a full-board meal basis, a comfortable safari lodge set in a tranquil natural environment within the Selous ecosystem. The lodge offers spacious, well-appointed accommodation, warm hospitality, and a relaxed atmosphere, allowing you to unwind while staying close to the wilderness.
Day 2
Bushwalk
Enjoy an early bush walk from the lodge, exploring the surrounding wilderness as the day begins, and taking in the fresh morning air, natural sounds, and peaceful atmosphere of the bush. Along the way, you will learn about the local ecosystem, plants, tracks, and the wider natural environment.
Boat Safari on the Rufiji River
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat safari on the Rufiji River, gliding through its wide channels and tranquil waters while taking in the surrounding riverine scenery. Along the way, you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds in their natural habitat.
Day 2 - 3
Overnight at Africa Safari Selous
After a full day of activities, relax and unwind at Africa Safari Selous on a full-board meal basis. The lodge offers a peaceful safari setting with comfortable accommodation, warm hospitality, and open natural surroundings, allowing you to fully take in the atmosphere of the African bush.
Day 3
Transfer to Mtemere Airstrip
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Mtemere Airstrip for your onward journey, taking a final moment to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the safari environment before departure.
